Office Visits
Dr Rohde is not in-network with any insurance providers. He specializes in Integrative Functional Medicine and works for YOU and not an insurance company and therefore is not bound by any contract that would limit services or treatments he is able to provide for any patient. Dr. Rohde's goal is to help you discover the root cause of your health issues and help your body heal as it was meant to so you can Live Your Best Life. He feels strongly that the doctor-patient relationship is sacrosanct and should not be interfered with by any insurance company, employer, or the government. Freed from these restrictions anyone may see Dr. Rohde but you will be considered Self Pay and payment is expected at the time of service. A fee of $125 per 15 minutes, $250 for 30 minutes, etc. will be collected at the time of your visit. This cost is included for patients participating in bundle/package pricing.
For new patients, Renew Total Body Wellness Center requires a security deposit of $300 to secure your initial appointment with Dr. Rohde. This payment will be applied to any money owed at the time of your visit.
If you are “out of network” or you have no healthcare insurance your visit and any necessary labwork will be Self Pay. We have very reasonable lab cash pay prices that are much less than either hospital or most other labs. You will be asked to pay for your visit and lab work at the time of service. Please come prepared to pay for these charges with cash, checks, or credit cards at the time of your visit.
We will provide a receipt for your visit. Codes may be given for the office visit only if you wish to file a claim with your insurance carrier. These codes will be available once the office visit note is completed, which may take up to 12 weeks, and you must be registered with our portal to receive the codes as they will not be mailed. If you file with your insurance we will NOT provide any further documents to them as we are not credentialed with them. Any further paperwork you ask us to provide for your insurance will incur additional fees to cover staff time as we have provided you with reasonable pricing and we do NOT work for your insurance company. If you submit a claim to your insurance and they mail payment to us we MUST return it to them as we are not credentialed with them or we would be committing fraud. You will need to make sure you obtain payment from them.
Testing
Any blood lab work ordered by Dr. Rohde is based on your unique history and clinical situation. We have very reasonable lab cash pay prices that are much less than either hospital or most other labs. Our lab, Healthlab, will bill standard blood testing to any insurance including Medicare that is NOT included in a bundled health package. Any advanced testing like Saliva, Stool, Blood and Urine utilized for your functional medicine evaluation is included in the bundled evaluation fees paid in advance of your visit. Any additional tests we feel are necessary during your initial visit to help discover the root cause of your health issue, or any re-testing to evaluate the success of a treatment, will be at additional cost paid for at the time of your appointment. Insurance does not cover these advanced tests.
If YOU ask to have lab work performed at an outside lab where your insurance may better cover your testing we will add a “Lab Handling Fee” to your visit charges. This fee is payable at the time of your service. Labs drawn in office and performed through Healthlab or performed by LabCorp at one of their facilities will flow directly into your chart and simplify handling of results and avoid human error. Lab results from outside labs are frequently not sent in a timely manner and require staff to call the lab to retrieve your results. Further, results arrive in paper format and staff must manually enter those values into your chart for them to be useful for comparison with prior values. The “Lab Handling Fee” pays for staff time necessary to obtain results and then manually enter those values into your chart.
